What should I do to convert 12v to 13v?

    Hi all,
I am working on ups for the router I have some questions:

    1. I am using lithium battery 3s whose output when full charged is 12.6 so I need 13v to charge it, I have adopter 12.22v I need to boost the voltage. Is there any way which transfer is best that work without producing too much heat I don't want to use xl6009 or any module ... just simple circuit.

    2. 12v*1.5a= 18watt == 9v*2a = 18watt. What if I give 9v 2amp to a 12v load is it work?

no, you need an intelligent charger board,
go look on ali-express for a 3cell one.

lithium isnt like lead-acid, you cant just throw voltage at it even if you current limit it.
you will get a very bad outcome.

      First off: Welcome to Badcaps!

A lot of stuff will "work", but what you're suggesting here isn't safe at all. Before you burn with that kind of an idea something down, go and get the correct charger on Amazon, Ali Express, etc.

I gave up on keeping my network and router alive at home with an UPS. As soon my power goes out, so does the cable internet. I can power the home with my generator, yet no get any internet at all. I use my modem and VOIP to check if power is back, so I can turn off my generator.

Where I live I have the opposite problem when I loose power the internet is up and running but when I loose internet I still have power most of the time and this how they the power structure and these transfer switch to go from one feeder lines to another feeder lines and it not uncommon for them to trip and go back and forth between the two feeder lines and then leave the hole area with no power until the system is reset again

Yes there is a simple circuit that you can buy it is BMS protection board it comes in several different types one type is a BMS protection board that has a balancing function which is the best type and one type that does not but most cases are cheaper in cost but unless you use matched milliampere hour battery you will not have the most reliable running time unless you use a balancing BMS protection board which cost more but you still have to match milliamperes hour you can not just use new battery cells and use them you need to charge them and then load test until they are discharge to the minimum cell voltage according to the data sheet

Your best bet is to buy a 12 volt battery pack that is professional made and hope for the best outcome unless you have the right equipment to test battery cells use the right type of BMS protection board that is the best option for what you want to do

I would be very interested in what you come up with for this project that you are interested in doing

Here is a video that you could use for making your own

UPNP, "Standards" and hardware that implements it
                by EasyGoing1
I've been writing a program in Java that is really just a robust front end for the use of GitHiub Gists, providing a nice interface for developers to organize, maintain and access code snippets that we tend to need from time to time in our different projects.

One of the features of the program is the ability for people to share their Gists with others who use the program over a LAN or over the Internet. The program just basically serializes a Java class and encrypts it then wraps it into a UDP datastream and sends it over to another user.

So I decided to implement UPNP...
