Those are the Source and Drain pins. Do you check it with the IC removed from the board? What is the resistance reading?Never stop learning

Re: Str 6676
I didn't take it out. One pin is ground and the other I traced through some other components and it eventually runs to ground. I didn't want to waste time pulling it if I didn't need to. If I could figure out how to force on this power supply it would save me a lot of time.Comment

by pandrewI have a Thinkpad T490 (NM-B901 Rev 1.0) that cannot detect an NVME M.2 SSD,
but it works fine with a SATA M.2 SSD.
When connecting an NVME M.2 SSD I get while booting:
"2101: Detection error on HDD0 (Main HDD)"
I can continue and boot a live linux distro from a USB stick, but it doesn't show up in lspci,
and I don't notice any relevant error messages in dmesg.
I have tried two different M.2 NVME SSDs (both working fine on a different machine),
and the behavior is the same.
I am pretty sure that all the important... -
mon2 Thank you for your very helpful posts. Could you point me in the right direction? I have a thinkpad e15 nm-c421 that i got with a loose jack that couldn't get a charging light in any position.
After replacing the jack, i get 5v to the board, but no amps at least on my cheap tester and the light goes out after first lighting up(on the tester, but plug light stays on). I have no shorts to ground or between pins on the jack itself, but the diode mode red on ground does seem off on a couple pins based on what was posted above. Pins 10 and 11 rx2n and rx2p have no reading, OL, but they do... -

by Bob_CrachetI am experiencing the following symptoms:
With the device fully assembled when I press the power button, nothing happens at all.
I pulled the power supply from the computer and stuck a paperclip into pins 16 and 17 on the connector causing the power supply to turn on and the fans to start spinning. All of the voltages checked out ok.
With the power supply outside of the case, I plugged it back into the motherboard and tested it again. No change. PC did not turn on.
I put my multimeter in continuity mode and put the black probe on one... -
by corrizeHello, I search this connector (oxydated).
It's a fpc zif low profile connector. It come from camera sensor, it is very small : 0.3mm between 2 pins.
I ordered 2 from Aliexpress called « 0.3mm pitch » but one was 0.5mm between 2 pins and the other 0.6mm. In fact « 0.3mm pitch » seams to be the pad width and not the distance between 2 pins.
I can't find it. The other websites like mouser dont show the datasheet, and I can't check if it is 0.3mm between 2 pins ?
Do you know how to find this connector please ? What is the exact name for find it ?
