Can anyone tell me what this component is with the green end? It is hooked to what looks like a bunch of coils on our boot dryer/glove dryer. The device doesnt seem to heat boots anymore. The fan still spins. The coils seem to get warm but should they get red hot? How do i test this component and how do i find out the value of it?

- This is thermal fuse, and breaking temperature value is labeled on him... may be say 150 deg celisius or so, and when ambient temperature reach this point it break the circuit for safety protection. You can measure it if is still conducting, about 0 ohm if it is ok, else is bad.
I make this device from regulary fan hair dryier without any heater engageing, and work very well.
