Is their anything locally like radioshack that i can match something to a P6KE120 Diode?

Re: Diode - Replacement.
V,
Hate to say it but Mr Z has the exact answer for you.
Radio Shack has nothing like it.
Ran into a similar problem some time back on a clients 2M ham radio.
The OEM used a 17 volt edition on the DC input to the set.
After a few years of car starter surges, the part shorted and took out the fuse. Yeah I could have 'done without it' but some day an expensive power control IC would have died, and it would have been my failing.
Call it a quirk but I hate to mess up like that.
For three bucks and a couple of day delay you can get ten of them.
Real cheap insurance for the real world.
The only proper fix is to replace with exact.
On the link he gave you there is a good data sheet.
Read up on these things, most interesting parts.
Very often the only choice in life is to pay the freight and get the right thing.
Mr Beertap had a similar issue with one on a PSU used in the game industry.

by chth96is there any replacement for MPG06J diode?
https://www.vishay.com/docs/88682/mpg06.pdf
It is very hard to find this MPG06J diode in my place.
I think that replacement should have the same ratings with MPG06J, But it is impossible for me to hunt down replacement for MPG06J diode.
Any reply would be appreciated. -
by badcappoHi there, looking for a compatible replacement for a diode type labelled "V6 18" from a dead Panasonic plasma TV power source. Possibly a V6 600 volts diode as seen here: https://electronics.stackexchange.co...nt-diode-v6-88 ?
Thank you...

by asrHello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks.... -
by jezzaaaaI'm trying to find a replacement diode for one that has gone short.
I have a generic USB charger that went short circuit to ground on 5V. I found that one of a pair of identical diodes in parallel (and in series with transformer secondary winding) has gone short in both directions, so I suspect it's bad. The marking is CSRS1045, which I believe is a low barrier Schottky with max current 10A and max reverse 45V. I found a spec sheet for CSRS1045-A that has same specs and also says 350mV drop when forward biased.
I can't find the exact part number for sale. Similar... -
