    10db amp Booster?

Hi guys:i got a 10db antenna amp booster but it only covers Freq.50-450MHZ
and i guess only good for VHF,i got it in the flee market for 3 bucks,i did not see the frequency cause the price sticker was covering it,so i guess waisted 3 bucks ,unless i come up with a change in the circuit if that's possible!
anybody knows if there's a way, thanks in advance.

You still haven't told us what you need the booster for. If it's for WiFi, it'll be pretty tough to build.

VOIP, ATA REN and old analog phones ring voltage booster
          by CapLeaker
I am working on a backup phone to VHF paging solution. Basically I am dealing with the old Zetron pagers. Here is how it works: One calls a number, the Zetron picks up, operator punches in the DTMF access code, the Zetron keys the transmitter and you can talk. press # the Zetron unkeys the transmitter and hangs up / times out.
Now this setup works good on the old land lines, but not at all using a VOIP ATA. You can call all you want and swear like a bastard at the Zetron, but it will not (even if I threaten it's life) pick up.
Yep, I know about the high ring voltage...

          Signal Booster repair
          by badcapjerboard
Can anyone please help me identify the chip needed for replacement?
Seems the dc jack breaking off the board broke this device. There is a chip with a hole blown through it which I removed, but I can't tell what was written on it or get any useful info with a meter. I'm assuming it's a transistor.
It looks the same as a chip nearby which says 4R_s 94 but clearly said something different. Can anyone tell me what is an appropriate replacement or how to figure it out?

blue arrow removed chip. also knocked out little capacitor below it.

Replaced the glass IC on a Series X, Pin 13 in now OL.
          by SarcasticOP
          Hello!

I am replacing the booster IC (glass IC on the other side of the HDMI port) and I had to use a bypass chip I from Sourcely. I got everything set up and resolved the issue I was having from that (different line was OL) but now I am contending with this one. Is there something I can do to restore the signal?

Attached is a photo with the pad in question that is supposed to supply the signal to pin 13 on the HDMI port. Tweezers where I am pointing to.

LG 39ln575s - power ON, backlight ON but no screen

LG 39ln575s - power ON, backlight ON but no screen.
I checked TCon board V390HJ1-CE1 and VCL -8V, VCH 30.2V.
Display is HC390DUN. With both strip is backlight only - nothing on the screen.
If I put 1st strip off, I see 50% black 50% white. If I put 2nd strip off, see some lines vertical/horizontal with pink color (probably color of LG logo) and after that, white on thle left corner.

The IC chip CM501 (probably booster for VCL and VCH is hot - after 1 minute is not possible to put finger for more than half second.. So I think it has got about 70C. Is it normal?...
