I am working on a HP Spectre that keeps resetting the charger. Using my thermal camera I found a component on fire, temps reaching 140c marked "GAF". Thank you for providing the actual component name. I ordered it today and hopefully this will solve the issue.

I have the same exact issue. Did that solve your problem? The only ones I have found come from China so it will be a while before I can even test a new one.
