PCB hole repair or bypass wire tips needed!

I found a really bad repair on my power board and the hole is scrap.

When I solder it doesnt stick to the board. there is any tips to repair a hole or can we solder a wire?

and since it s a negtive lead of the caps can I solder it to any other negative cap lead?

    thanks

you need to desolder the cap and see what the other side of the board looks like.

the other side is not really better...I do not see the small ring that we normally see

I am thinking about wiring it up to a GND pin of the nearest connector

      what do you think?

ok so here some other pic, from under the board, there is continuity between the 2 red circle, so I assume that the solder make a good contact but I do not trust it!

picture from the top the red circle is the cap side with the bad solder

Can I wire from the bad solder to the gnd with the red circle?

                  thanks

You can scrape off the green coating next to the bad hole and solder a new cap to it.
Just measure how long to leave the neg. lead of the cap.

What is that stuck top left side of the black cap?...the blue cap is hiding the side. Looks like the stuff spewed by a badcap.

i recapped the entire foxlink psu with rubycon caps of the exact uf needed. i also purchased a delta psu to see if the different brand would change anything and it did not. i recapped the entire motherboard except for about 5 of the 22uf caps. i used rubycon on everything except the five in front of the processors. i used 5 nichicon polymer caps there. i soldered a wire to each screw hole of the psu and soldered one wire to the metal outer shell and one to a screw hole on the motherboard(to make sure it was all grounded well). i also recently tried disconnecting the power cables from the dvd drive...

New wire for my RDE3340 Whirlpool electric range

OK. I got the rocker switch figured out thanks to the good advice on this forum.

Now I need to figure out the correct wire to go to the switch from the broiler element and from the oven element.

This is a Whirlpool RDE3340 electric range.

The common wire on the switch appears to have a high temperature insulating material. I am guessing that both the wire to the broiler and the wire to the oven elements also need relatively high temperature insulation. What do I need to look for? The broiler is rated at about 2400 watts.

                                      Where may I find parts...

                                      Hi to all forum members,

This psu (Tiny Tech model ATX 480W) had been installed in a very old Windows XP PC but recently i pulled it out as the pc cannot start. To test it, i jumped the green wire and black wire on the 24 pin connector. The psu fan jerk a bit but not spinning. I used my dmm to check dc voltage on output connector wire, the 5v red wire keeps ticking a bit at around dc1v....then drops and ticking again around 1v. It is the same situation with the 12v yellow wire.

Fyi, i desoldered the secondary side electrolytic cap those over 1000uf...

Something made a "pfft" sound and the laptop refused to turn on after that. After getting back home, I gave the the laptop for repair to an informal repair person. Essentially, every alternate horizontal line on the screen had gone missing. The laptop was...

I have a KD-65X9005A Sony 4k LED TV. For a few weeks I've got this problem where I turn on the TV and within a few seconds the TV starts getting darker until it shuts itself off and I get the 4 blinking error code. HOWEVER there is one exception: Whenever I switch to the i-Manual, a full screen on-screen instruction manual, the TV never turns off. I tested for hours!...
