I don't have an oscilloscope. so i just reading about signal tracer and have a question in my head. is there possible using a signal tracer to figure out the signal on the circuit that we are try to troubleshooting, or it is just for audio equipment troubleshooting instead for the others like psu, or analog devices?

Hi everyone, over the past few months i have taken a deep dive into motherboard diagnostics and I love the challenge. Anthem MRX500 - no sound

I have the following problem I am trying to troubleshoot. Unfortunately, I have contacted Anthem themselves and even a local distributer but I am not having much luck. Failure Symptom
No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.
Where is the short?
