    Generating logos on your oscilloscope

Most of these would be easy to generate on a digital oscilloscope.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Re: Generating logos on your oscilloscope

I thought you were going to show something like this:

And ffs LOOK AT THE CAMERA when you're talking, you look like a retard when you're reading a few words from something outside the camera's view. You should have enough memory to remember those few words without looking sideways ... if you don't, at least put the paper under the camera, or above it.

How not to Damage an Oscilloscope
        by Tarot Superstars
        Hello.
I have jut got my first analogue oscilloscope. An Isotech 620 20MHz.

I want to learn how not to damage it, and I found instructions on the internet obscure.
They talk about ground, earth, floating ground, this, that....
But they don't actually say anything anything useful so far.

        I want to know:
Don't connect exactly this to exactly there or it blows up.

For example, I am tracing a signal from a function generator in an audio amp, or testing for voltages in different parts of a circuit.
I want to know what not to connect...

Sony STR-DE445 did I get a faulty IC?
        by goodpsusearch
Hello, I got this AVR for cheap and tried to fix it as a fun and learning project.

First the audio video receiver would turn on but had no sound at all, but no "PROTECT" message.

So, I opened the metal case and noticed some marks showing that some liquid has been spilled on the amp. Those water marks were found on the main board and the digital board.

I disassembled everything, then checked every single cap on every board of the amp and recapped when needed.

Also fixed A LOT of cold solder joints and also done some modifications,...

Recently my father-in-law sent my wife and I out to Arkansas from SLC, Utah to pick up a van. Weird, but true. My father-in-law owns an auto repair shop and found this beefed-out van with a wheelchair lift (I guess those are really expensive).

The woman we picked it up from was getting rid of her father's estate after he passed.

While we were there - she had opened his garage to give us the extra seat for the van - I saw an oscilloscope sitting in the corner. I guess the guy was an engineer. One of the really really smart ones that worked on projects 12 levels above...

        Dynamco analogue oscilloscope
        by Evets
I have recently acquired a Dynamco D7100 analogue oscilloscope without a user manual. As this is the first time I have owned or used an oscilloscope I would like to try and find an instruction book. The manufacturers no longer hold any information and a Google search only found one site but when I downloaded a 'service manual' all I got was gobbledegook. Any help would be gratefully appreciated or even pointers to a generic manual where I could learn more.
