I am looking for a charger / analyzer that will do 18650 batteries with the same features as the MAHA Powerex MH-C9000 that I use for AA and AAA batteries. I have a ok charger for the 18650 but no analyzer and that's what I really want most.

Re: Looking for a charger / analyzer for 18650 batteries
Still looking for suggestion on a battery charger / analyzer for 18650batteries, the focus on the analyzer part as I would like to test them for rated capacity without sitting and watching and timing it all myself. -
Re: Looking for a charger / analyzer for 18650 batteries
i use a triton 2 and an original triton for general purpose charging/testing.
get an 18650 holder or carefully solder magnets to leads.

Re: Looking for a charger / analyzer for 18650 batteries
Ouch that Triton 2 is a bit more than I wanted to spend. Like I said I have a good charger analyzer for NiCad AA and AAA and a good charger for 18650 I just need a analyzer for 18650 so I test capacity.Comment

by dbuergiHi all,
sometimes i'm in need of a charger / tester for very small batteries and even if my multimeter doesn't show anything there is a chance that a smart charger helps to revieve. I'm happy with my Keenstone smartcharger and i made a small mod just to use it with smaller batteries like in smartwatches or even camera batteries with special contacts.
Soldering wires on the charger contacts and using needles as probes. I covered both with a shrink hose with integrated solder.

by sam_sam_samHere is a website I have ordered from before and the results that they claim are correct from what I have seen from the batteries I have bought from them
BatteryHookUp.com

I have test about 5 battery packs ( out of 15 battery packs I bought) and have had very good results and so far have not found any bad cells
I have also bought these battery packs before on EBay and they are a good source for a battery case that holds 18650 batteries however... -
by carrzkissHello, all.
Cyberpower Battery Backup Unit.
I bought two new ML18-12 batteries through Amazon (They have already refunded my money for the two batteries as we thought the batteries might have been bad.)
When I got them in, they were not fully charged. I connected them to the UPS and waited 24 hours before connecting any networking equipment.
In parallel, they read 24v, but within 24 hours, the meter on the front of the unit dropped from 4 to 3 bars on the battery charge indicator.
Checking the voltage, it was down to 22v.
I quickly removed everything... -
We have a Fiat 500 with no aircon that is absolutely vile in the summer. Unfortunately we can't afford to part ex it for an aircon model, or splash out on the Ecoflow Wave air conditioner. However, what I do have at my disposal is three 36V 10S4P ebike batteries, each 360wh, 420wh and 500wh. My thinking was I can get this 780W 9000BTU air conditioner, parallel the batteries and power it through a 42VDC to 240VAC inverter.
I assume I will need a diode on the output of each battery to stop them backfeeding into each other. Will a large Schottky on each work or do I need an ideal diode?... -
by JohndillHi, I have a Dell Inspiron 7567 LA-D993P that I've just got running.
There was corrosion around PU1503 which shorted PC1518 & blew PL1504. (Reference pictures attached)
I've replaced PC1518 & PL1504 & the laptop is now running however I now have another issue.
Here are the tested scenarios:
1. With the laptop running on battery, I plug in the 150W charger & the charger shuts off (no LED, protection mode) but the laptop remains running on battery.
2. With the laptop off, plug in charger (LED says on) & the front charging... - Loading...
