Now I know there are a lot of people who love Fluke multimeters and for good reason, but I can't understand the bidding war for a non working Fluke 77 for $54.69 + $15 shipping.

Someone with 1424 transactions came in with 7 seconds left to win.
So $70 for a multimeter that may have a blown 1K fusible resistor. I believe a genuine Fluke 1K fusible resistor is also around $7?
Did I mention it comes with no probes or protective holster? Brand new Fluke TL-75 leads are $25 in Canada.
Is this some sort of collector's item because it says Heath?
Maybe the guy who wanted $100 with Buy It Now for the $2.99 Harbour Freight multimeter wasn't so crazy after all?
