Sanyo DP42740, PSU stuck on, no LED, no signs of life.

I've read both of the available threads regarding this set. Like one of the poster, my set appears dead, other than a click when the set is plugged in. There is no response to the power button, no screen glow, no sound, nothing. I've checked the voltages at the PSU and it appear that all necessary voltages are present. I've unplugged the SS and/or the SN with no change. At this point, I suspect the digital main as was the case with this post

Any idea how to test this before I order the board and find out I was wrong? I'll post pics in a few hours.

You can probably force PSON etc on and the screen will glow if the D, SS, SN and P boards are working properly.

Seems like the PS is already on. Vsus and Vdata arw both present. 15V+ is there too. There's no glow from the screen whatsoever.

Hmm, unfortunately, Panasonic D boards do not have a simple test pattern jumper. It does sound like a main board fault, given the lack of power LED.

A new digital main fixed it.

Digital main is the board with the HDMI inputs on it. I believe these sets also have a separate board with analog video inputs, you want to order the one with HDMIs.

Is there anyway you can provide a photo or link of photo for the part I should order ? My problem is the same as Johnyboy described. When I turn on tv nothing. when I unplug it, then re-plug, it makes clicking sound for few seconds but nothing happens after that. I've only had the tv for 2 years and this is the second time this has happened. the first time I had warranty and it was repaired at shop. Out of warranty now and trying to fix it myself.
I have 42 inch Sanyo dp42740...

Take a photo of the back of your set with the cover off

I'm pretty sure this is the board I ordered. Yours may differ. When you get the pictures of the boards, get a picture of the label with the model and chassis number. The boards in this set differ by chassis. Get good, clear pictures of the label on the boards too. There are codes on the boards that help to identify it. In the link below the code is J4HF.

I order both the Power Supply Board and the Main Digital Board. Install them both and still nothing happen.. Same clicking noise after plugging it in... No led lights, sound no nothing..

What kind of voltages are you seeing from the power supply?
