I actually fixed this Tcon board!
The set came in with what I would call "noise" on the screen, moving dots shifting patterns to follow the signal but nothing readable.
I replaced the multiplexer IC on the Tcon board, part number ISL24007IRZ, I was able to get ten of them from a Chinese distributor for $2 each. I have nine left if anyone wants to try the same I can mail you an IC no charge)
Now the picture isn't scrambled anymore, All of the menus work and there are coherent graphics on the screen.
I still don't get a video signal through from a DVD or cable but that's not a T-Con board problem is it? I assumed that if my menus and graphics display OK then the T-Con if OK.
I figure I need to repair the A board next to restore the missing video.
