    My capacitance Meter

    This is the meter I use to measure capacitance. I have found it to be quite accurate. I appreciated that it had a setting for over 2000uf. When I measure capacitance of new
    low-ESR, high grade caps I get readings that agree pretty closely with the spec sheets.

    I measured a bunch of Sanyo caps tonight. I generally find that Sanyos are very close to the labelled capacitance, typically about 1050 for 1000uf.

    At any rate, it's easy to spot fakes or dried out caps with this. Comments away. It came with two very nice probes, not shown.

    Even though it has a model number starting with HP I take it that's not actually made by Hewlett Packard?
