![]() Have this TV with no picture. When I first got it the same symptom. Backlight on but no picture. I check the tcon fuse and it was bad. So I ordered new tcon and mainboard packaged together.
I replaced the tcon and mainboard and still have the same symptom but the fuse on the tcon did not blow. I tried unplugging one side at a time of the lvds cables and still get no picture. Not even half white screen. Just black screen with backlights on. Anyone have any suggestions or run into this problem on this model? |

![]() I would be checking t-con voltages. Maybe panel dragging down a voltage.

![]() Did some more digging around and found a few shorted caps I believe.
It’s a group of them coming off that eeprom I mentioned on the buffer boards. I removed 1 fro circuit and it was shorted. However the group of caps still all test short also. Not sure how to find which one is bad or if it’s the eeprom except for removing each 1 by 1. |

![]() Your photo is blurry but they look black not cap colour suggesting they are inductors and so will read as short.

![]() Have you checked the PS board? What are its voltages?
Where did you get the mainboard and tcon? Have you had time to check t-con voltages? Last edited by captainKKK; 03-08-2022 at 04:22 PM.. |
