The ICE3BR0665J is far as I remember the controller for standby voltages. Do you have a red led on in standby mode?

        Welcome to the forum-
We can sometimes help a lot more if you please post good clear pictures of the whole chassis, and then pictures of each board, front and back (in the same orientation) and close up of connectors, (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) using the manage attachments button, which is found by clicking "go advanced" under quick reply.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

        Examples of what is needed

There are two small startup caps on the primary side can you post their value and can you check the voltage on them.

The ICE3BR0665J has an internal start-up current generator which takes current from the Drainpin and charges CM808. At a certain point, oscillation will start and continous supplycurrent is supplied through aux winding pin 5 on transformer. So, please verify CM808 does charge and tell what voltage you see.

                                    Re: samsung tv (power problem)

Hi... I found another fault for 300v in CP815, some resistor (SMD 1,2M conected to fuse 2A FB802S) of RB803, RB804, RB805 and RB806 (in special RB806) have low resistance due to conduction of glue. Remove resistor, clean glue and resolder again...
I found this problem in others power supplies of other models in the same circuit...
                                    Regards... ;-)

p.d.: sorry for my bad english... X-D

Problem with Samsung TV model lE32B350F1.

At the start, the red LED flashes four times and then nothing happens, there is no picture.

Initially I found that it was destroyed: FS801S fuse, rectifier SD801S, FET QP802S (ICE3BR0665J) and elko CP815. After replacing PFC works ok, it have 380Vdc, UM801S works as there are 5Vdc and 13Vdc. When you start up a sound sounds, the red LED flashes 4 times and nothing is happening anymore, there is no picture. The oscilloscope shows that it does not oscillate QI820, QI821, and there is no escape from DT801S.Practically there are no 800Vac.Unfortunately I do not have the scheme of the whole TV only on the part BN44-00289. I ask for some help, suggestion, an idea what further.

                                      Thank you very much

Start a new thread with make and model + good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                                          Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                                          Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

                                          Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                                          Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                                          LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...
