Will do tomorrow a little dark here to take good pictures a visual inspection all looks ok i could pull all caps and test esr i guess but i see chs sells a eeprom maybe a common issue i will link pictures of the boards that are the same as mine so you can have a quick look but will upload mine tommorow. ive also noticed whilst the blue standby led is flashing you cant turn the set off on the side switch you have to unplug it.

hi guys anyone have a schematic for the megmeet MP4618 psu as if possile i would like to jump the psu to check the voltages are stable this is a good clear picture of the psu as you can see it does not have the voltages printed on it

Well... not thaaaat fast... You have STBY voltage. So first check if the main board returns PSon to the power supply. If that main board does not return PSon voltage to the power supply, the TV simply does not turn on.
You may have a bad main board, let it be an Eeprom problem or the main IC.

i would say eeprom, it wont be the first time i have had the same problems with these sets, technika, jmb, bush, to name a few, but nine times out of ten you cant get the IC for them and have to get another main board,

cheers guys i think i will risk ordering a eeprom from chs or ohms supplies they both carry them for this tv so may be a common problem not many main boards for sale with all matching numbers i have searced ebay etc.

the trouble i have i cant find a psu schematic to find out which is the pson wire etc its like the sets trying to boot for 12 seconds then seems to get stuck and re boots.

The labels for the pins are on the bottom side of the board.

Again, first measure the voltages on those pins, since you have the pin out now and post them here.

CN05 and CN6 measure the voltage between + and -.
Other than that, it's worth a trying an eeprom.

The voltage between the + and - is 93 volts on both cn05 and cn06 i will try to unsolder the eeprom later as still learning and very small traces (no hot air station) if i can remove ok i will order one

Hi sorry only just got around to having a go at the repair yes the eeprom has fixed the issue the set seems fine i will run it later for a few days to confirm its ok.I ordered the eeprom from ohm supplies about £23.00 a word of warning the tracks/pads lift very easy i did lift and break one but managed to solder a small copper wire onto the track and then fitted the eeprom.
