Yesterday, I was given a used PC that failed to POST, no video and no bleeps.
I didn't reject when I saw it, because the case looked good, saw and pulled a SoundBlaster Live sound card from it and installed it into my PC. Also had an Athlon T-bird 1.4 ghz and Kingston PC2100 DDR SDRAM with Nanya chips.
The Athlon T-bird 1.4 ghz processor does work.
It has Ost caps that also say "IQ" on them! Like if Ost aquired I.Q.!
The Ost caps have the following text on them:
OST
IQ
6.3V
2700uF
RLF 105C
--------------------------------------------
They have a green wrapper with gold text.
No bulging.
No leaking that I can see.
The thing that interests me is that the Ost caps also have "I.Q." written on them. I thought that Ost and I.Q. were separate cap brands!
