TP-LINK gear - Anyone tried it?
I'm seeing a lot of TP-LINK branded networking gear at decent prices.

I have seen alot of them here too. I am not too familiar with their products, however what exactly are you interested in? If you are interested in NIC's, take note of the chipset that it uses and find out any issues with it. I suggest you run away from any Texas Instruments NIC chipsets. -

The NIC's in the servers are Intel gigabit.
Setting up an LTS for 9 users.
Right now I'm looking for gigabit routers for the first ones off the servers.
The rest of the LAN can stay 10/100 for a while and that gear preexists.

I love Intel based NIC's. I have never had any sort of issue with any of them!
However with respect to routers, even knowing the chipset is not going to help you too much. There have been many instances of dodgy as well as great routers sharing the same chipset. I guess it comes down to the manufacturers implementation of the chipset and how buggy their firmware is.
Unfortunately I have no idea how good TP-LINK routers are. Have you dug up any real information about them on the net?Comment

I haven't seen much on them that's why I asked here.
I think if there were big problems they'd show up on the web.
But maybe they just haven't been around long enough. . ??
