    No, it's not being bashed, it's being used by someone who rushed into something new who didn't take the time to set it up correctly.
    (p2p updates is a stupid idea, although being able to share on a LAN is a good one, would better if there was full control of them though.)

    In 1973 my high school science teacher bought a calculator that we built. It was the first one I ever saw. He sat it on his desk and we formed a line to do our calculations for electronics class tests. He paid $400 for it. That was the cheapest one available. A year later they dropped to $200 a year after that they were down to under $100. That's when I finally got one, it was $40 did the four basic calculations plus percentage I believe. A year after that I got one that also did square roots and took it to college. No slide rule for me buddy! I was stylin', with my new calculator and red LED watch. High tech all the way baby.

    As best as I can remember Kanopix was the first distro that I tryed . Basic was my first lang. It was the early 70s The computer was in a large building in Phoenix. My h.s. had a i.t.t. term with a phone modem . You diled a # then put the phone a holder . Key board and brown paper .

    actually i made a mistake, i think i had mandrake 2006,
    so i was using SuSE before that.

    i also used OS² aka WARP for a while because bill gates said "windows is dead - OS² is the future" - fucker!

    I dont think I ever down loaded suse . I have used a number of distros , its mint at the minute . Yes I do know where to get the distros out side the torrent sites .

    I never really trust any windows iso file I get on a torrent site . Most do come bundled with a lof of other soft ware , and probly mal ware . You do also find Linux on torrent sites
