I wouldn't have thought you need to run Malwarebytes and Security Essentials. Both do real time scanning and like all antivirus its only as good as its user and can give a false sense of security.
Are you wanting to uninstall for a reason ?

None of these programs are a problem, although you can get much better antivirus programs than MSE

Our current AV of choice is Bitdefender with Kaspersky a close second.

Malwarebytes is a great thing to run along side a decent AV, especially if you have the premium version.

I don't really want to uninstall anything,i just wanted to know if there is any software that i really do not need! i use Free Malwarebytes and it's better then defender,i had to use it a couple times to get rid of some browser that installed itself and could never uninstalled it,don't remember the name now.

          Any you don't use !
If you are having software install itself then secure your browser better or switch it. I see loads of scuzzy addons and cr@p when the user has been using chrome more than Firefox.

VLC instead of the k-lite codec pack.

Vlc is a media player. Plays everything, does subtitles, does not send its usage back to anyone.

                    Re: Uninstall program?

I use Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC), it has all that's needed built in, just like VLC. So you don't need codec packs or other things.

I like MPC-HC more because its interface is more similar to how proper Windows applications behave and does more things better (hardware decoding, better 5.1 support etc)

You can download it from here: https://mpc-hc.org/
