Help identifying componant on FirePro V4800

    Hey i have a used FirePro 3D graphics V4800.
i installed it and video showed up but realized the fan wasnt getting power.

After inspecting, i found there is a component missing/broken off.
its located to the left of the fan plug, labeled "B200"

From pictures online, it looks to be a little black diode or resistor.

Does anyone have this video card that can give me some specs on this so i can order one?

    Thanks

Look for other components denominated "B..." . To me it sounds like an inductance.

It maybe a small inductor for noise suppression... Hard to say.

See if there are any other B*** components on the board, that might give an idea?

There's seriously nothing else on there that starts with a B.
I was hoping to find someone with the same card that could give me some markings or something.

Possibly erratic behaviour of the card... If it's an SMD inductance there are normally no markings on them. If someone has the card he would need to remove the component to measure its value.

Can you take a picture of just the component and the area around it so we can see some details on what its function might have been?

Is one end connected to the RED wire? More likely to be Ferrite Bead inductor.

                          can anyone suggest what
                          impedance @ Frequency? 60ohm@100?
                          Current Rating? 250mA?
                          DC Resistance? (DCR) 150mOhm?

i should choose for the new part?
no idea im just going to order one and see what happens.

That is why I asked if one end of that part is connected to the red wire of the fan.

i couldnt tell with the connector in place, so i removed it.
following the trace, it DOES connect to the red wire.

                              what does this tell you?

Yes it looks like a Ferrite Bead. You can safely jump it. It's there for extra noise filtering, to prevent the electrical spikes created by the fan motor from disturbing other circuits. Most cards don't even have it.
