Windows update KB3033929 very picky.

    Windows update KB3033929 very picky.

    I was affected by the KB3033929 restart to install updates update failed rolling back issue.

    turns out my issue was related to bios set to boot from non windows drive (grub bootloader for Cent os.)

    solution was set to set bios to boot drive with windows boot loader.
    My pc
    CPU : AMD PHENOM II x4 @ 3.5Ghz
    MB : ASUS M4A89TD PRO USB3
    RAM : Kingston ValueRAM 16gb DDR3
    PSU : Cooler Master 850W Silent Pro
    GPU : ATI Radeon HD 6850

      What's not working right?
      The system does not even POST, display is black,
      LEDs on - power led, aiplane mode, capslock fpr few seconds in the start(when connected to ac power) only.


      When did the problem happen?
      My laptop had dual boot setup, ubuntu and windows 10.
      It already had a moklist error, that would occur when i tried to boot ubuntu.

      I own a Lenovo ideapad v310-15IKB with an i5 7th generation with only Intel graphics configuration.
      Now the heart of the problem is that I don't know when or how it happened but I suddenly started getting distortion in the graphics output on the LCD. This basically meant a black screen full of flickering multicolored short horizontal lines. This would happen 30-60 minutes after booting and using it normally.
      I run Windows 10 20H build so I thought it was just a Windows update issue or graphics driver outdated issue.

      Hello,

      this is a very strange Problem:

      Notebook hang instantly on Boot. BIOS is accesable.
      Windows: instant after showing "loading circle", even Windows Boot Stick hang instant (even without installed SSD/NVME )
      Linux: instantly (if Linux Boot in leagacy Mode with log messages: Machine Check exception after 0.25 sec)

      i have tried:
      - only one RAM Stick, another working RAM, both RAM channel
      - BIOS Flash to newest Version F.50, BIOS Reset
      - Memtest86 hang instant at Test 2
      - HP UEFI Diagnostic wont find...

      Hello fellows. My Lenovo ideapad5 151al7 doesn't charge my battery, this seemed to happen right after an win 11 update, at least that is when I noticed it. I rolled back the update but it didn't matter. The laptop doesn't work off of the power adapter, which btw, I always leave plugged in and never really use the battery. New power adapter and battery, same problem. USB-c connector. The battery monitor in setup says "charger not installed", (but it is).
