The fanless heatsink was from geforce 9500gt, and according to data it card have 50w disipation power. This rx26pg2 (radeon hd 2600 pro) has less power, again according to data, mention 35 - 45w, but I dont know what is expected temperature on this type of fanless card anyway... ... ... for me, it is too hot to firmly touch... I doubt that original small heatsink with fan run any lower temperature on it...? About cooling... I open few rear sheald for card slot, and put card into tide tunnel, so, when is computer case closed it suck fresh air over heatsink... I tested with piece of paper that work...Comment

by quicknameI'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.
Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.
I decided to verify that the batteries were... -

by harpI have peltir element glued to heatsink with something thick and sticky like putty... it cant be separate with force or heat without risk of breaking ceramic or damaged semiconductor layers due to force (eg if try twisted, pulled, lifted)... method that I am using is a single thread for needle (thin and firm thread of pure polyester that cant break with bare hands without glowes), and using it like a saw between heatsink and peltir. I holding a heatsink with knee against table. It slowly cut throug putty and release glued parts. It is slow proces, but preserve undamaged component and heatsink....

by KYBOSHPrevious owner says this unit powers on and sometime has an image and sometimes not. They attempted to replace the main board but with no success.
TV came with the replacement mainboard as well as the original.
When the TV turns on there is no image or sound. No response to the remote or toggle button other than the power button. The power supply's relay was clipping here and there. It did that for several seconds even after I removed the mains. I did this even with no other boards connected (only the backlight was connected at the time). Backlight looks fine but... -
by VenHello everyone,
I'm looking to upgrade the heatsink on the main processor of my TV's motherboard for better cooling performance.
The current heatsink is a square-shaped one (2.8cm x 2.8cn) with a basic design, and I believe a more efficient heatsink could help with thermal management and potentially extend the life of the TV.
I'd appreciate any advice on the best type of heatsink to use, specific product recommendations, and tips for installation.
If you've done a similar upgrade, I'd love to hear about your experience and any challenges you...1 Photo - Loading...
