Free VPN review of Proton VPN it was working but now it locking up my Safari browser and Duck Duck Go

Is there a decent VPN out there that is decent and free to use

Because at first I thought that our internet connection was lost yesterday but after doing some troubleshooting I realized that it was the free VPN that I was using it first started with having to do a hard restart of the iPad to receive my emails then sometimes not wanting to load certain websites pages probably then yesterday no internet connection access at all really are you kidding me

Yes, there is a thing with VPN's (a kill switch) that if you loose the VPN server it will block everything and acts like you got no internet at all. Mine does this too. I used to use free VPN's years ago, but found them unreliable and slow.

to be fair, a lot more people are aware and using them now.
opera - atleast the beta version, has a free vpn built in.
because i dont want to add to the problem, i only envoke it when i get blocked.

Update I decided to go back with Norton 360 deluxe edition and bite the bullet after buying a new laptop computer for 3D cad software and a USB based multi meter data logging capability and to use my battery testing machine remotely

I will probably be selling several very old laptops on eBay in the next several months from now but I have to remove the hard drives and format them clean maybe offer them with a operating system or just blank and give them a second life for someone else I will probably keep one or maybe two of them out of 5 of them that I have

you should install freeDOS on them - just so buyers can see they function.
