Maybe put an ad on craigslist or whatever is popular in your area and list them all for free? Just leave it outside on your yard and state "first come, first serve".

Got lots of junk, what should I do with it?
OK, here's another "I need advice" thread. Over the course of three years or so, I have managed to have sixty-some computers gravitate my way and I can't shake them off. (read: nobody wants to buy them) So what should I do with all the crap? Most of it is like Pentium 3-4 era, and half of it doesn't work, has missing pieces, or just plain trash. Although many of the boards still have viable components, I could desolder what I want and trash the rest. I couldn't donate them to a school or thrift store, because the schools have C2D's and Core i5's (I'm not joking, they do) and the thrift stores won't take them. Trash all of it?Sell it? Nobody buys it, they message me about it then never respond. Gaah! I've gotta downsize in 2 and a 1/2 years so we don't have to build such a big house. I might throw some stuff on ebay just to see if there are any takers, but I doubt it so much I just want some ideas.

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....-

by MasterCapI do some hobby repairs mainly of my own junk, and I don't know much programming level repair/mods.
I got the AVR-2802 over the weekend, sold as working of course, and it worked for 1 night, using EXT. IN 5.1CH jacks, then after power down, the audio never came back. I've reset it, and get nothing on EXT IN or PHONO, despite having everything set right, hooked up right. I can hear lots of relays work tho.
I just want it for 5.1CH analog inputs , for PC surround sound. I'm not worried about the video or most of the digital stuff for now.
So far I've traced...-

by DannyxGood day folks......wow this new layout is weird. It's like I woke up one day and I'm no longer on Planet Earth or something
Anyway....got this here power brick from a USB to SATA adapter which keeps blowing the fuse after I almost repaired it. The reason I even bother to fix a power brick (wall wart, whatever) in the first place is because this thing was really convenient to use: I'd just plug it and that's it. It's a dual output supply, for both 12v and 5v, which although I COULD easily obtain with a DC-DC converter from a standard 12v adapter, I thought I should crack open the... - Loading...
