    Super Twisted

I bought an lcd tv and in the lower right corner is one bright white pixel.
I've just realized that on a normal tv almost everything at the bottem is dark, a suit, a desk, the ground, whatever.
So this dot is just staring at me.
I just read that if you apply gentle pressure on that pixel and power the screen it may come back to life? Something about the liquid filling in?
I would be satisfied just to turn it on so it was black or green or anything but bright.
Ever heard of bad pixels comming on?

i had an LCD monitor that had a stuck on pixel. i pressed on it and it worked...sorta. it wasn't just white. it would do dark shades, but it wasn't 100%.

Don't bank on it, but I have read where ppl use an eraser covered with several layers of polishing cloth to rub the pixel area. Some got a result w/o damaging the screen because I think it has to be rubbed pretty hard.

Give it a few days as I'm sure some here can offer more than I have.

This is a used or repaired LCD you have? So no return or warrenty? How about a tiny dot of dark paint over the pixel.

Yes it was an Ebay as is, Panasonic 13' .
        Nice for mounting in kitchen.
Funny to think I could erase a pixel with a pencil...
        Wife may laugh at me.

Let her laugh. The eraser will still be firm enough to exert pressure on that tiny area but soft enough not to cause damage. Guys use a new eraser but do cover it with polishing cloth.

Let us know how it goes
