Do I get to guess? I used to sell those. Let me guess: It's restarting itself and / or you're getting data corruption, with errors in the event viewer.

      How close was I?
A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still.

nope. in the middle of a memtest, it just shuts off, with its own antec 350, and with a thermaltake tr2 430. Maybe its related to the 4000+ single core thats in it. both temps show fine, and there is no shut down tempeture set

this board was my gaming board (combined with a 3500+, 6800 GS and 1GB corsair) for god, 4 years? not a single problem. Lot of those corruption issues if I remember are related to certain version of nforce drivers

(oh yes, and I recapped the kgz's with pannys)

and rat from thier website i' getting

        Code:
Error! Application error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

See error log for more information.
thats what they get for using aspx

I've seen some server & workstation grade Asus boards that you just couldnt kill....but anything consumer/gamer grade by Asus = junk.

I am absolutely sure it is wise.

It was MY thread about MY computer. your topic has little in common.

If I wasn't so lazy, I would have copied your post here and split it up...

It's not like I deleted the Posts... if he has a problem with it, he can just merge the threads... I I really doubt he will have a problem...

it wasn't really MY topic, as even though I mentioned my A8N-E was acting up, I was mostly asking about those 604 heatsinks and adding info about the board I wanted them for

hegge started bitching about asus, and I provided information, maybe someone had an idea why my A8N-E was doing that

                                      so what?

I was the OP... as for whose topic it is, that is irrelevant. I should have said "that topic". I wanted my thread back and I moved the side discussion to a different thread. I don't see what is wrong with that? (even topcat agrees with me).
