Re: Ratdude's Main rig V2
nope. in the middle of a memtest, it just shuts off, with its own antec 350, and with a thermaltake tr2 430. Maybe its related to the 4000+ single core thats in it. both temps show fine, and there is no shut down tempeture set
this board was my gaming board (combined with a 3500+, 6800 GS and 1GB corsair) for god, 4 years? not a single problem. Lot of those corruption issues if I remember are related to certain version of nforce drivers
(oh yes, and I recapped the kgz's with pannys)
and rat from thier website i' getting
Code:Error! Application error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. See error log for more information.

are you sure its wise to split the thread, and undo the hijack when YOUR FORUM BOSS is the one who hijacked it to begin with?Cap Datasheet Depot: http://www.paullinebarger.net/DS/

Re: Asus A8N-E
It was MY thread about MY computer. your topic has little in common.
If I wasn't so lazy, I would have copied your post here and split it up...
It's not like I deleted the Posts... if he has a problem with it, he can just merge the threads... I I really doubt he will have a problem...Last edited by ratdude747; 03-17-2012, 06:26 PM.sigpic

Re: Asus A8N-E
it wasn't really MY topic, as even though I mentioned my A8N-E was acting up, I was mostly asking about those 604 heatsinks and adding info about the board I wanted them for
hegge started bitching about asus, and I provided information, maybe someone had an idea why my A8N-E was doing thatCap Datasheet Depot: http://www.paullinebarger.net/DS/

I was the OP... as for whose topic it is, that is irrelevant. I should have said "that topic". I wanted my thread back and I moved the side discussion to a different thread. I don't see what is wrong with that? (even topcat agrees with me).sigpic

by razor_amdWith ASUS, not everything is quite so simple. I will show you my way. It may be longer or harder but it is the right way to do it in my humble opinion.
For example, you can have 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all being the same model, all of which will have different BIOS versions.
I will give you an example and my version of preparing BIOS from ASUS website and in the process I am always cleaning Intel ME while doing it so you have fully cleaned BIOS, no DMI data, no password, nothing.
This is the picture of 3 similar ASUS motherboards, all of them being X555LD...-

by c.danielhello; so, i have this asus fx506hm-az121, it's an i7-11800H with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060; so, this notebook received some liquid on him; all coil resistance looking good, all looking ok; i clean the oxides, and now, battery is charging, but when i press power button, led light up, and leds from keyboard light up but no screen.
So, i think bios messed up; i try to download bios from asus site, but after delete those 2kb from beginning, bios image on start of the file they are very different; i think asus change the way bios appears/how they are build.
So, any of you can make a Clean...-

by vixeko_They asked me to change the HDD to an SSD on this Asus laptop, in case the laptop already had problems such as it not turning on every time and the battery charge lasting very little.
and perform the task successfully and clone the data from the hdd to the new ssd
I managed to start windows on the ssd and everything was normal so I decided to restart it to measure the startup speed and when I did that instead of starting windows the laptop sent me to the bios
I exited the bios to continue to windows but when the laptop turned off it did not turn on again, it was strange but... -
by Prima83Hi,
I'm looking for a .bin file to flash the BIOS for:
Notebook: ASUS ROG G713QR-HG121 (Strix G17).

SN: MBNRKD004835486
Motherboard model: G533-6050A3250203-MB-A01(A1)
I have attached pics of the mobo and 2 IC's on it that look like BIOS chips, just not sure which one needs to be flashed.
The flat chip has this on it
Winbond M12JWPIQ

and the other one's model is Winbond 25Q16JWNIQ...-
