has anyone here dealt with kc8adu?

Hoping someone can give me insight on "kc8adu". I sent out my motherboard to this guy sometime during November hoping he could help me out with it and this guy has been giving me the run around with shipping it back to me. Its been well over a month and his responses are scattered. Hoping someone who've dealt with me before tell me if I've just been scammed by a deadbeat or he's response time is just plain slow. Any help is appreciated, I just want my stuff back.

He's been a moderator here for 5+ years, I've dealt with him many times. I'm not sure what kind of 'run-around' you're getting, but he's known to be quite backed up. Should have sent it to Badcaps.net in the first place!!! HAH, I had to!

he has been nothing but quick and punctual for shipping with me (I've bough second hand parts from him).

I think this thread would have better been a PM... it just doesn't seem right.

ratdude747 - I've tried the PM method, I've tired the email method, I'm just a bit annoyed of sending him emails over and over again for force a response out of him. It's frustrating when its been well over a month and the responses is limited on his end. I just don't want to end up like these guys - http://www.videokarma.org/archive/in...p/t-77732.html

I'm just trying to figure out if I've been screwed over or if he is just that backed up with everything. Sure, it doesn't seem right to put him on the spot but I've been email tagging with him for over a month.

Topcat - LOL, i probably should of sent it out to you in the first place. But its good to know that he's known to be quite backed up. the "run around" is that I've been email tagging with him for over a month with no real progress with the where about of my motherboard.

I doubt you are screwed over. he probably has been busy... sometimes he gets swamped with arcade machines to fix...

Running out of Ideas, hoping someone smart can provide some for my ONKYO TX-SR353 Receiver
                by CDNBrewer
                Hello Everyone,

I have an Onkyo TX-SR353 Audio/Video Receiver (5.1 ch with HDMI) that I am having a really hard time diagnosing and I'm about to throw this in the junk and go buy a new unit that is on sale until the 7th.

                Symptoms:
                • Intermittent (part of the reason why i'm having a hard time isolating problem), sometimes will work for 10+h at a time without issue
                • Original symptom was wife reported loud banging noise (like someone was banging on the wall with their fists) from the LEFT SURROUND speaker and then the unit shut off.
                • I swapped the Left and Right surround

repairing 360 s6 vacume cleaner robot with stuck radar
                by Matthieu vK
                Hello,

I got my hands on a 2e hand 360 s6 vacuuming robot i wish to repair.

Unfortunately, a common (and mine) problem is that the radar, used for navigation is not working.
a second unfortunate thing is these problems seem to have many different causes, from dirty lens, to stuck hairs so it can't move, to broken down radar module to a faulty PWM (mosfet?).

the issue I am dealing with is what I believe to be a faulty PWM.
I have come to this conclusion as this seems to be an issue that others have dealt with also, but I have not found anyone...

                LG 65uh5500 screen issue
                by repair-it
Replaced LEDs and found screen has cracked corner - didn't see it originally when I got the TV, no illumination. Unit delivered from back of a pick up truck wrapped in a drop cloth. Should have known better to check it first but didn't. I'm wondering if there is a way to salvage the screen by eliminating ribbon feeds to the damaged section. Thinking I may also have a T-con issue too. Removed & cleaned T-con ribbon cables & connectors to no avail. I have heard that the ribbons go bad and a lot of complaints online about the failure rate of this TV, that...

                by Duranitron
Got hold of this HUAWEI MATEBOOK D14 (DAH98NMB8B0 REV: B HF) intel i5 with 8gb ram. My friend told me that she is using the unit for 2 hours, then sudden black screen, she plug the adapter hoping it's just battery issue, charge the unit for a while. nothing even charging light. charging adapter is ok.

SYMPTOMS: No power, no charging lite, no sign of life

WHAT I DID: open the unit, visual inspection, check for burnt components, looks clean, no burn or corroded components, When charging the unit i got 19volts at the charging pin. i notice a over heating component...

Hi All - I am hoping someone can help with some pointers (complete noob here!)

I have recently purchased a Scotle HR460 BGA reball machine (it's a bit old and I think the company no longer exists either), but as far as I can tell it is a competent and unmolested machine that should be good enough for my needs.
My biggest problem is that it came with no profiles, and I must re-create all of them from scratch, something that is very scary for someone that doesn't really know what they are doing.
The simple stuff like a small memory module isn't a big deal because there are
