help picking out the right capacitor for my xbox

i want rubycon brand capacitors. i want high ripple current, low esr(preferably, ultra low) 3300uf 10v caps. i'm having a hard time figuring out which series i should go with. most info i find is about discontinued caps. please help me pick the right ones? would there be any benefit to going with audio grade caps like less interference? thank u.

audio grade are crap, they just have a flatter frequency response under 20KHz.
and rubycon dont make ultra-low esr electrolytics anymore.
the closest you will get is ones starting with "ZL"

what is the best ultra low esr cap i can get? will i notice any difference in performance with ultra low esr caps?

if the caps are good enough - they will work, if not then you will get random crashes

Check out my other thread you posted in yesterday. I listed two links for best cheap capacitors for 1.0-1.4 and 1.6 models. You can't get ultra low esr in electrolytic's anymore but you can get very low esr which is just fine for an xbox.
Here are Rubycon's that will work https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...2-5X20/4977113
If you have a 1.6 board, you have to get ZLQ which are 10mm diameter since they are much closer to each other vs early models (see pic)

            RTX 3080 FE Identifying capacitor
            by Prolog
Hi people, I hope this is the correct spot to post this, I'm new to the forum.

I have an RTX 3080 Founders Edition which has a burnt up capacitor (it was in parallel with another capacitor which appears damaged too), so I am hoping to be able to identify the capacitor values and order replacements.

I hope these photos make it clear which component I am referring to:
(yes, the soldering is a bit botched from removing the blown one, I know)

I have found the board schematic (attached), but there does not seem to be a boardview available. I have never...

Xbox 360 Xenon Modern Capacitor Replacements
            by burom
I found my old Xbox 360 in storage and opened it up to see if there was anything that broke since it was built in 2006 (launch era Xenon revision, never red ringed, never been serviced) and didn't want to find out by releasing magic smoke. Upon moving the dust bunnies out of the way I was greeted by a bunch of capacitors with crud coming out of the top; it doesn't seem to have leaked onto the board so at least I have that going for me.

I'm posting here because I want to try to source replacement caps myself from Mouser or Digikey instead of braving eBay or waiting for places to have...

Replacing capacitor in Original Xbox Foxlink Power Supply
            by cybernet3000
            Hello all,

Got a bit of a noob question - I have an original XBox revision 1.0 with a Foxlink FTPS-0001 Rev B psu. I've already removed the infamous clock capacitor and I'm planning on replacing the caps around the big heat sink (Thanks to everyone who contributed to that massive thread for pointing me in the right direction) but I also noticed on the PSU there's one large cap that seems to be bulging a little. It is cap C19 and from my googling I've been able to determine it's a 2200 uF 10 V capacitor.

            My questions are:
            1) Can I just replace this with any...

If I replace with inferior capacitor, Is it No harm to other IC components at all?
            by chth96
I replaced some capacitor which is located on optical pickup pcb which is shown in the table below(PCB #2).Because it have been out of order.
Now,It works very well,But I just have found that all caps (6svpc100my and other part number as well) ,which is shown in the table below, has ultra-high ripple current spec.
It is not able to obtain any capacitor which can be a substitute for this ultra-high ripple current nichicon capacitor.
So I replaced it with samxon and rubycon's general capacitor(GP,YXA series).
I know that these capacitor will not last as long as nichicon capacitor...
