I found a dell optiplex gx620 in the trash it was apparently in a flood we had around here about a year ago it had a sticky note on it when i found it that said were it came from when i got it home i opened it up and it was full of dried mud here is a picture of a card that was in it .all of it looked like this if it sat in water for a week or so would that ruin the capacitors it comes on if you take the mother board out of the case and replace it i cleaned it all up with a tooth brush and a air compressor when it does come on it works fine with no errors but if you shut it off and leave it off for awhile it wont come back on until you pull the motherboard again but it will boot right back up after a quick shut down

have u playing with the bios? or try resetting it, or replace the battery? also, enable ACPI in the bios, if such option exist..days are so short when you actually do something.. -

yea i updated the bios to the latest dell bios file i also reset the bios and i also pulled the battery i have tried several settings in the bios to no availComment

When i fully shut off mac, orange light goes off and wont react to power button. I have difficult time resetting with combination "shift+control+option and power button", because it rarely works (reason unknown), when i manage to get orange light and then press power button macbook wont turn on and orange light goes off. When i hold combination with power button it turns on, and works fine if put it to sleep mode.
Works with battery and charges, but when i shut off i get this problem.
It had liquid spill. Board has no corrosion, keyboard is working, power button... -

Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).
A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when... -

It have amd gpu, so there can be problem. Any hint? even dis to uma will be good if can be done

I have this case a SAMSUNG NP350V5C, board number is QCLA4 LA-8861P Rev : 2.0.
the laptop was dead because of triggered 3.3v and 5v supplies, the problem solved and the laptop fired up, I tried to boot to Linux at first but the laptop completely shuts off while booting all the times i try and it doesn't turn on only after couple hours, So i decided to change the RAM and install windows 10, the installation was successful but when it was booting to windows for the first time it shut down again, But this time it is refusing to turn on even after waiting for hours....
