Bummer guess i will just have to order a cap. How much is a decent cap meter ?

I do have a older digital multi meter. But i dont know if it has a capacitance range or how to set it to test for capacitance here is a pic of it....Leave a comment:

Pins D11 & C465 are not populated on my board either. The right hand pad of c473 goes to pin 1 boot of 9259 IC and the left hand pad of c473 goes to pin 13 phase of 9259 IC.
This is what it says about pin 1 in the pdf. Bootstrap supply for the upper gate driver. Connect the
bootstrap capacitor between BOOT pin and the PHASE
pin. The bootstrap capacitor provides the charge to turn on

I have a galaxy gts 250 video card given to me and it has no video. But the cooling fan kicks on so i started looking at it closer and i found a piece of smd cap wedged between to legs of an ic. i have this same monitor found it in dumpster when i hook it up to my desktop and power it on the lamps in it light up and the power stays on green light does not go off it does not show anything on the screen no self diagnostic nothing unhooked from the pc same thing nothing on screen does not show no signal message like most of them i opened it up all the caps in it look ok the caps are capxon 470uf 35v kf c440 don't know if these are known to be junk or not i don't think its the power supply how do you test the voltage regulators on the logic...Leave a comment:

klipsch promedia 2.1 no preamp control pod

i have a power supply board out of a Compaq lcd and it has what i think is a ceramic smd capacitor with the markings of 7.5 B or 8 2u any ideal what they mean or what size it is it looks like it got really hot most of the electrolytic caps are bad vented it works intermediately here are a couple of pics of the board not very good quality though... -

I found a dell optiplex gx620 in the trash it was apparently in a flood we had around here about a year ago it had a sticky note on it when i found it that said were it came from when i got it home i opened it up and it was full of dried mud here is a picture of a card that was in it .all of it looked like this if it sat in water for a week or so would that ruin the capacitors it comes on if you take the mother board out of the case and replace it i cleaned it all up with a tooth brush and a air compressor when it does come on it works fine with no errors but if you shut it off and leave it off... -

i found a dell optiplex gx620 with dual 3.0ghz possessor with 512 ram it has a few problems the hard drive was dead it was apparently in a flood do you think the caps need replacing does not boot all the time battery was also damaged leaked acid replaced the battery and the battery holder and cleaned up the acid it had a layer of dried dirt all in in cleaned it all up with a tooth brush and a air compressor i am using it too post on this forum i also found a 42 inch sharp aquos plasma or lcd not sure which it is The screen is damaged but it does come...Leave a comment:
