Hi,
I have an HP T912 oscilloscope, the unit has not been never used but it has been for many years on the shelf. I made a mistake (I think) because I tried to turn it on right away without first opening the case to check for issues to components.
Everything seemed to work well but after a few seconds the system goes off.
I opened the box and saw that the electrolytic capacitors are damaged.
my question is:
I can change the capacitors with others with the same voltage but higher capacity, pulled from a modern desktop trasformer ?
thank you
