HDTV won't power on
The bad cap is a JH.
CD264
105 c
A-3
450V
4.7uf
It's about 16mm high and 10mm wide
It's for a 40" Element HDTV
I can't find a model number, but serial number is DR000036700013184, if that helps
The first yahoo that replaced it used any ole capacitor he could find, did a horrible solder job, and used the wrong kind of solder. It worked for a few months, then pfft.
I just need a replacement cap, I can handle the rest. So I leave it up to you gurus. I'm good at troubleshooting and soldering, just not as smart as you guys when it comes to picking the right caps.
PS: the size doesn't really matter much, this capacitor sits on an island by itself. Everything else on the PSU seems to be functional as far as continuity goes, just this one dead cap. Please help me
