PLACE TO GET CAPS

I have found a place to get the CAPS needed for most motherboards. If you go to www.mouser.com/nichicon here you can find the 6.3v 3300uf 10MM caps.

The part number for the 3300uf 6.3v is: 647-UVZ0J332MPD .72 each or .53 each in quantity of 10.

These are rated at 105 C

Not Low ESR

I have used these to replace some badcaps that I had on a P4 motherboard and its been running for about 7 months with no problems.

what about the UPW series? They say "low impedance", but not "low ESR". Might they work anyway?


[P.S. After posting this, I see that quoting isn't working. Also, I just had a devil of a time during every attempt at posting: I'd be asked to login, although I was already logged in. But it would reject my password. Then, the problem suddenly cleared up.]

Low impedance implies low ESR, as a high series resistance would raise the impedance.
