Re: List of Bad Cap Manufacturers
They're owned by Huawei China : http://www.huaweiec.cn/index_en.asp
Note that there's lots of fakes ChangX Cheng etc.. these are probably "genuine" chang but with lousy wall wart adapters or power supplies and heat they're going to die no matter what.

Re: List of Bad Cap Manufacturers
So Su'scon's are good in Indonesia (humid and high temperature, equatorial ring), but bad in Australia (dry and modest temperature - Melbourne ) and Colorado ( dry and /presumed/ low temperature )... Learned that on geography classes :-))... Interesting...Leave a comment:

Re: List of Bad Cap Manufacturers
They are Su'scon caps, it could have been made in 2013 and failed. Anything with "VENT" on the label does that before anything else.Leave a comment:

I would keep your eyes open and at the first sign of trouble from the monitor I would replace ALL electrolytic capacitorsLeave a comment:

Re: List of Bad Cap Manufacturers
I don't think they're as bad as everyone thinks. My monitor is full of them, and my computer's PSU (from 1998) has a mixture of Su'scon, G-Luxon, and Teapo. The computer has trouble booting when it's cold outside, but the monitor was made in 2006 and still works. I have seen pictures of monitors with bad Su'scon caps. Replace them if you want to and have replacements already, but it isn't critical.Leave a comment:

by cookAre there good brands for 'run capacitors' or 'start capacitors' that are used on electric motors or heat pump compressors? ... r are the good capacitor brands for electronics (power supplies, laptops, motherboards, etc.) also the good brands for run capacitors?
Yeah I know this might be a novice question, but I just wanted to be sure. I did do a search on the forum but did not see this question asked before.
Thanks-

by Mark DThe TV is a Samsung UN65JU67ODFXZA Version TD01. I replaced the power source board and the TV is now working, but I decided to try and troubleshoot the old board to fix at the component level. Trying to get a schematic and a parts list has proven to be an issue. Trying on my own, I can't tell you how many times my Norton security has flagged sites as "malicious". I ordered a service manual from ServiceManuals.net, paid $16.99 and got 66 pages of everything BUT schematics and component parts list! Can anyone steer me in the right direction? Some of the surface mounted component parts...

This is a list of compatible laptop motherboard information that I have been collecting for some time.
And it's still ongoing.
Every time I come across information that a board is compatible with another, I write it down.
Anyone who wants to, can continue to expand the list.
Packed in the rar, is an excel table that has additional information.
