back again with more crap ive found for free in the rubbish.
hp proliant dl380 g5 rack server complete with all ram and 2 HHD .works fine.
1150 socket i5 just missing HHD ,had blown power supply.works fine now
onkyo tx ds575 amp ,has a fault but still fixable
old ibm 5291 2 terminal .powers on still .
IBM personal computer 330-100dx4 complete with original IBM mouse and keyboard which ive bumped up the memory and using for old school games machine.

this was all in the rubbish as well .
oh and the lg 22 inch led monitor and phillips 22 inch led monitor on mine and wife has a 19 inch dell led monitor .
people are very wasteful...

picked up this oldie ,powers up and goes through the motions .cant see yet ,have 2 cga/ega monitors both with the video cords cut which is frustrating but im working on that.
in the shed have picked up about 28 computers ,10 or so are P3,P2,P1 ....

trying to identify this old thing from the 50s to replace with a new one .i dont know how to read the values to match with a new one and the local shops have no idea. not much info on the web either ....

well it partially fires up got some lights ,fans and the battery holds a charge but thats it right now,it looks like it has 2 power supplies inside and one has had something spilled on it so will have to replace that first but will have to wait because i scored another laptop,2004 acer which had a broken pin in the charging port and is now all working fine....

found this 1992 laptop,it needs a 20v power source i have a 19.5v from universal laptop charger ,would that charger handle running that laptop....

Was using win 7 then thought i give win 8 a go and that crashed so gave it a chance then upgraded to win 8.1 and that crashed so bad was not recoverable even by disk so back to win 7 .tried ubuntu and mint .liked mint and still have that running as well.

i got given a LG flatron led 24 inch pc monitor not working opened it up and full of bulging Su'scon caps ,replaced all of them and its working perfectly again,
