Re: Quick question.
go with the 100uf 10v. i've done that to many a PSU with strange values and they still work fine.Things I've fixed: anything from semis to crappy Chinese $2 radios, and now an IoT Dildo....

Sometimes you need to break shit to fix it.... Thats why my lawnmower doesn't have a deadman switch or engine brake anymore

Re: Quick question.
Will do when I get home, just wandering would it be ok to use the 6.3v on that 5.5v line I usually like to keep the cap within 1v of the rated value, also being on the output the voltage may flicker up and down I will use the 100uf 10v just to be safer. Please Do Not PM My Page Asking For Help Badcaps Is The Place For Advise, Page Linked For Business Reasons Only. by willis6732Hello,
This macbook wont turn on. Only a quick fan spin. Sometimes fans spin a few second. Somtimes they spin fast for a few seconds. Other than that no signs of life
All the Coils on the board have voltage and battery charges fine as well.
I noticed this not sure if it is suspicious:
PPVCC_CPU_PH1 / CPUCORE_SW1 = 40 Ohms (Flex Bv shows 90 Ohms)
=.023 Diode Mode (Flex BV shows .090)
I would appreciate som support in the diagnosis.
Th anks,

by ten-dHi all!
I just bought a pair of ADS L810 speakers, which I've heard are some of the best speakers from that time (late 70's) into the early 80's. I was super excited to test them out and hooked them up and I was very underwhelmed by the treble. The treble was awfully muffled. I've been doing some restoration work on 70's stereos and a couple of speakers here and there so I am really just a beginner. I do know that capacitors in speaker crossovers filter out the lows to allow only the highs up to the tweeters and mids. Inductors filter out the highs to allow the lower frequencies to...3 Photos-

by MeltedDuronSo a couple of days ago I picked up a 2009 8-core Mac Pro in "as seen" condition at a price that was too good to pass up, got it home, eventually managed to install OS X on it, and then it died while downloading updates. This machine looks like it was used for heavy video editing work as it still had a Blackmagic capture card and two GPU's installed, but I expect we'll see a lot more of these 2009 Mac Pro PSU's failing soon.
After it died, the machine made some clicking noises, like it was trying to fire a relay but something wasn't working right, so it kept randomly clicking... - Loading...
