An M-AUDIO Audiophile 24/96 sound card from around 2007 time frame

the whole thing has nothing but Suncaps

they aren't actually leaking, but I am replacing any caps who don't have a website or come up in a google search! - lol

I don't mind using low-ESR caps, because I have gobs of them in stock, but I have run into the problem of oscillation sometimes when a low-ESR cap is used and just a standard cap is spec-ed.

In person I've only ever seen Suncap caps on really basic stuff like 56k modems, ethernet cards, low end sound cards. I don't think any of them were even over 100uF. Do those ones you have have the Hermei/old Jamicon style vent? Like this?

That sound card really has a 9-pin miniature vacuum tube?

Power Supplies should be boring: No loud noises, no bright flashes, and no bad smells.

"Suncap" is made by FU KEI ENTERPRISES CO. LTD. They were based in Taiwan. I don't think they're operating anymore. Their website went down sometime in 2011.

Looks like FU KEI's website is still up, possibly under a different domain:

                  http://www.szfukei.com/index1.asp

They do claim to be a supplier (or OEM, or distributor maybe?) for Suncap, Lelon, Elna (what's interesting about the latter two is that Elna established a joint-venture with Lelon in 1995, in Malaysia, called ELNA-SONIC, to produce aluminum electrolytic capacitors...), Samsung, HEC, Kemet, for ceramic, tantalum, polymer, and electrolytic capacitors (double layer electrolytics as well)... I don't know if they're saying most of that just to sound reputable but the site does verify what P4 said.
