About a year ago this Acer 2017 monitor went out, and saved it for a rainy day project. Now I've opened it up and saw that there were 1 for sure 220uf, with another possible 220uf. After replacing the for sure bad 220, I tested it and the backlight is still out. So I replaced the other 220 as well and tested it out and the dang backlight is still out. All the other caps look fine, nice and flat toped, I'm just at a loss here.
Maybe you guys can see something I cannot

But today, I’m making an exception here. Why? No idea. Perhaps only because the repair details are still “fresh” in my head… which is ironic, given this is a 16 year old monitor that hardly anyone will care about today. It is new to me, though.
