    ocz500sxs blown the house fuse

    everything just fine before oneday its start like loosing its power. then i push the power and my house fuse are blown. i open the psu n find nothing strange. no blown fuse, no blown caps or sign of burn. nothing... then i try to jump start psu by shorting green and black cable and then the fuse are blown again.

    whats wrong with my psu?? pls somebody help me...

    Sounds like a shorted bridge rectifier or PFC circuit.

      Unless the PSU has a relay (quite rare) that would blow the fuse upon immediate power on, not when green-black shorted.

        A picture of the internals of the power supply would be helpful.
        My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

              yup. it use FSPXXX-60GLY(NEW2) with capxon caps.

                Check for a short between positive and negative on the bridge rectifier

                  bridge rectifier are fine. see pict in post 5. there are burning sign in transformer.

                    looks like glue.
                    you have some shorted silicon.
                    bridges can short on the ac side too.
