Speaking of idiots ripping caps off the board, is there a semi-effective way to repair a lead port that has been partialy or completly damaged/ pulled out? I know I've burned a couple rings before and the board still works, but they kinda scare me.
If it's still good enough to conduct and can be soldered to, just leave it as is. If not, use a wire to solder it to the nearest point where it should be connected.
