KZCJ I guess is some odd-ball brand as you say, only markings are 470uf 16v 105C no date code no nothing.
Yec are blue lytics 470uf 25v SH105C and on the back of the cap are two numbers

YEC quit making caps except for two series.
I have some old catalogs on file.
They didn't do a data sheet for each series. - Crammed them all into one giant PDF.
Too big to upload. - Will take a look.

Their SH series are GP caps.
The 470 25v SH shows as 10x16mm.
Ripple is 440mA at 120Hz.

The correction factor for over 10kHz is 1.20 so Ripple at 100kHz would be 528mA.

BCN has a java glitch that TC hasn't been able to figure out.
[I'm not the only one that has mentioned the problem.]
What happens is it keeps logging me out via some kind of time-out....
I start the upload and I get logged out before it finishes so the upload fails.

PC - Do you have a place where you can FTP it to? Then you can use the "Upload File from a URL" function of Manage Attachments.
If not, email the sheet to me and I'll do it.
I noted this problem long ago after TC did the increase in file sizes, but it was never acknowledged. IIRC, PDF's from your computer won't work if they are ~1.2 MB in size or more. It times out.

That's the problem I've posted about multiple times. The attachment window says that PDF files of up to 9.54MB can be uploaded, but in reality, the limit is 1.91MB just like for some other file types (RAR, PNG, etc.) for some strange reason.
If temporary storage is enough for now, you could use my own little upload thingy on the paid webspace I'm sharing with my brother.
Don't worry about the "error trying to get progress data" when you click on "upload". I somehow screwed something in the script up while translating the whole upload thing from German to English. Just click OK and it'll upload it regardless.

Max. 5MB, files are kept for 90 days. I could move the file elsewhere on the server to make it permanent.

I have a 2007-era Panasonic VHS combo that is full of of Elna RJG capacitors. I am trying to test the capacitors to diagnose the machine and then select replacement capacitors but I can not find any datasheets for them. I did find a Elna catalogue from 2007-2008 but there is no mention of this capacitor series. Where these specially made for Panasonic and so not made available to the public? Any ideas what to find out what the ESR values should be without the datasheets? They are all between 10V and 50V and 47uF and 1800uF. None are leaking or bulged but I know that they need to be tested to be... -

I'd like to recap some of my old mainboards (they are from 1998) before switching them on again for the first time after many years in storage. All caps still look good from the outside.
There are three mainboards:
- ASUS P5A rev 1.04
- ASUS P2B-S rev 1.03 "Rubycon"
- ASUS P2B-S rev 1.03 "Chemi-Con"
If you are interested in their specs, The Retro Web has pages for the P5A and the P2B-S.
They all have many 1000uF 6.3V 105°C capacitors. But there are some differences I cannot figure out.

I've got a Toei arcade CRT chassis and printed on the PCB is CM-R14 but it might be a CM-R20 and so far needs two caps replaced, I've looked on the Nippon Chemi-Con site and got their 2020 catalogue I cant find any info about the first cap in the catalogue or on their obsolete catalogue, on the cap is:
(Radial electrolytic cap) Nippon Chemi-Con 1uF 160v 85c 8mm diameter, roughly 15mm long (cap is bulging at the legs) with 6mm PCB hole spacing, the chassis service manual says this cap C58 is a CE04W with "04" in a smaller font than the capital "CEW" so it must be... -

I have this old (2004?) Altec Lansing ATP3 and i would like to replace the capacitors. I have identified 34 out of the 36 of them as Samxon GR of various capacities and voltages.
I can't find datasheets for the Samxon in any of the following variants:
10000uF 25 v - this one i really want to replace because i suspect it is what causes a dull hum regardless of the volume knob position or if the source is plugged in. I am eyeballing the Rubycon 25PK10000MEFCGC18X35.5 for this purpose. So if i pay a 10x the price part for shipping i might as well go ahead and...
