    Are these good replacements?

    Visually faulty motherboard (XPC Shuttle) caps:

    1x10v 1000uf (OST, 0517, RLP, 105Celcuis)
    Replace with:
    Link1

    3x6.3v, 470uf (OST, 0445, RLS, 105Celcius)
    Replace with:
    Link2


    If you have better suggestions please enlighten me. I tried taking pics but even with macro they came out too blurry.

    I appreciate your help!

          Those should work fine.
          I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

          No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

              Won't the 10v vs 6.3v for the 1000uf caps make a difference?


              The 6.3v vs 10v in the 470uf sound ok since 10v is higher than required...at least in my head. Also, the diameter of the 470uf should be ~4.5mm since they go in between other tight components..

              Thanks guys....I spent like 45 min in DigiKey looking for those links, duh! Sorry guys!
