    Replacement caps for bad RUBYCON

I have a fujitsu siemens motherboard with 7 failed rubycon caps, they all have brown goo coming out of them.

The capasitators in question is Rubycon 3300uF 6.3v

I am wondering if this is a good replacement:

    PANASONIC - EEUFM0J332 - CAPACITOR, RADIAL, 3300UF, 6.3V
    Capacitor Application:Low ESR

    More specs here: http://no.farnell.com/panasonic/eeuf...-3v/dp/1219450

Is the quality of this capasitor adequete for my application?

I live in Norway, so i want to buy local.

Also, should i replace the other caps on the board even if they look fine?

The pc would not stay on for more than 5 min.

To be able to help we need more information. You said the original ones was Rubycon, what series are they? Give all letters and numbers written on them. Also measure the size of the can. Then someone can tell you if its a good replacement or not.

A picture of the board would probably help out on your second question, then someone else could say if you might want to change more of them even if they look ok.

      Failed caps: rubycon T0411 105* 6.3v 3300uF MCZ

All other caps are other brand or size and looks fine.

      Only nubers on the motherboard:

      w26361 - w69 - x - 03
      w26361 - w69 - z2 -03 - 36

The pc is working fine for 5 min and then just goes off.

You should replace it with the same thing:
        https://www.badcaps.net/store/produc...products_id=30

If you will list the OST series capacitors, I will tell you what to replace those with as well, as they have no doubtedly failed but have just not shown signs of it.

I think that was all of them.

          I should replace all?

                  Check the powersupply aswell.
It is not unheard of for Rubycons to fail
Just very very rare, unless there is another problem (bad PSU or not proper cooling)

Check Newark/Farnell... They have warehouses in Europe.

For the 16V 1500uF, you can use this instead:
                          Nichicon HM
It's not an exact match, but it should be ok.

For the 6.3v 3300uF, you can buy from the guy on this site the Rubycon MCZ, or this guy on eBay
Note: The guy on Ebay is selling MBZ, but MBZ in place of MCZ should be ok here seeing how this is a P4 board.

If you want to buy EVERYTHING from the eBay guy, here is a list:
                            Rubycon 6.3V 3300uF MCZ
                            replace with:

                            4x OST RLX 105*c O408 1500uF 16v
                            replace with:
                            Nichicon HD
                            14x OST RLp 105*C O408 1000uf 6.3v
                            replace with:

                            2x OST RLG 105*c O408 470uF 6.3v
                            Replace with:
                            Elna RJH

The matches are not as good as before, but they are close enough and should be just fine.
