Bad mainboard- Toshiba 32e200u

Its raining Toshiba problems here. Just got out of the fire with one and back with another. This one is not sending the power on signal. The board number is 431C2751L03. Anyone have any experience with this one. There is a mainboard repair packet listed on ebay for this set but have no idea as to whether it solves this problem. Thanks for your assistance in solving this issue.

Probably software/firmware, have you an image of the board buddy ?

Thanks Reecey. Will get up pictures asap. According to the customer it got hit by a surge that took out the cable box also. I'm expecting more damage than just software unfortunately.

No worries also, might have taken a fuse out or fried something which is causing the protection circuit to keep the set in standby after power on self test if it was hit by a surge lol

Toasted main board. went through the hdmi and got the main ic probably.

Had a check cant seem to find one sorry, maybe Capleaker will know ?

Try heating the main processor. I had a 40e200u that had that problem or a fried hdmi ic can't recall which lol.

Thanks mmartell. Would really like to fix this one but may have to end up buying another. Wish you knew the location of that hdmi ic and how to test it.

U17 is the HDMI. I will look to see if I still have the main board this week end, I found the power supply board but not sure if I recycle the main board or not.
