Hi, my name is Alex. I'm from Brazil. I come from a humble community in my city. Since I was a child, I've been fascinated by computers, electronics and IT in general. I'm starting out in the area of video card repairs, trying to start a profession that is so scarce and very expensive, since we need to look for technicians in other cities or states to be able to perform these repairs. With this, I want to bring this type of service closer to home at a price that can turn into a profession, but without forgetting the reality of many who live here and can't afford to pay hundreds of bills for a repair that can often be simple! I don't want to say that others shouldn't charge for what they spent years studying and learning, but I'm talking about the reality of the neediest people who, at great cost, acquire a computer or equipment to play, work or even just study! My motto will be: Quality work for a fair price! Thank you for allowing us to be part of this huge community with so many people with years of experience!

Hello everyone, my name is JAb, I just joined the forum.
I'm still learning the art of electronics.
And I hope I don't bother you, and I will offer help with whatever I know.
I'm new to forums, so I know almost nothing about the forum.

      P.S:

              Hello,
My name is huy. I am a mechanical VN....living in France, and so far I have been fixing computers mostly to bring back old computers to an up to date machine(SSD, RAM, graphic cards, mechanical fix): like a Dell Dimension 9200 from 2006 running perfectly on Windows 10 or a 2013 Acer aspire V5 with broken housing...nothing extraordinary for most of you guys in this forum.
I have a next chalenge which is not realy mecanical...a corrupted Bios preventing a lenovo computer to boot. I have to flah it on the chip and this is how I ended up in this forum
I am working in a large electronic corporation, so in the same time I am not really afraid of software and hardware stuff
So thanks for letting me joining this forum ! I am looking forward to it !
              Best Regards
              L

Hi :-) First contact with computers was in 1999, when I earned my own money and could finally afford one. Since it was running Windows 98, psychological stress provided enough impetus to get familiar with Linux quickly. Ever since, I've kept learning more about it.
I am very excited to provide help wherever I can and learn new things in here!

As a new member here, I thought it would be polite to introduce myself and get the ball rolling for others who might feel a bit shy about jumping in. Let's keep it simple, though—this thread is all about intros, not epic debates or off-topic tangents. Let's keep it tidy!

                      Alright, here goes:

Hi everyone, my name's ByteChaser, and I'm a tech enthusiast with a borderline obsession for learning. 🖥️ Ever since I laid my hands on my first computer (a relic from the Pentium II era), I've been hooked on exploring how things work—and more importantly, how to make them work better. 😅

A little about me: I've always been into problem-solving. My formal background is in mechanical engineering, but over the years, I've branched out into software, hardware tinkering, and network troubleshooting. If it has wires or code, I've probably tried to fix, build, or modify it at some point.

These days, I work as a freelance IT consultant, helping small businesses optimize their infrastructure. On the side, I enjoy diving into open-source projects and contributing to forums like this one, because, let's face it—there's always something new to learn from a community like this.

I stumbled across this forum while researching DIY electronics repair and was impressed by the quality of discussions here. It seems like the perfect place to share knowledge and maybe pick up a few tricks myself.

Looking forward to engaging with everyone here—feel free to reach out if you ever want to chat about tech, troubleshooting, or even just random nerdy stuff.

So, who's next? Don't be shy—let's hear your story!
