Hi, my name is Jason and I'm pretty new to this type of thing. I'm a Maintenance Mechanic and father of 6, one of my children seems to thank I have all the answers for every problem, so here iI am trying to find an answer for this question he has a Surface Pro 4 and when you turning on the unit it goes to a system password lock screen so my question is how do I bypass this?Comment

This seems like a pretty great forum, I think I will frequent this place, and I saw the introductions are required so I'll do that too.
I don't have a whole lot of credentials but have worked part-time at a local PC repair shop for almost 7 years. I'm more into the business side of things, and don't have experience with board-level repairs or anything like that, but generally speaking I have dealt with a very, very wide range of computer related issues. If it's been on the consumer market since like Core 2, I've at the very least opened it up.
I'm always open to learning, and that's honestly why I'm here. I couldn't find any other websites with this level of depth especially when it comes to BIOS-related troubleshooting.Comment

I think the problem is that I lost the voltage at PQ0008 pon 1 -PWRSHUTDOWN which should have been high which was picked up by R9512 VCC3SW, thank you very much for your help

usb meter 20v 0.00 amp, after I took the VSYS measurement the drop was only `9.2v which should have been 10.2v I measured from a normal matherboard machine, the VSYS path resistance to ground diode mode is 1900 thank you
