Hi, I am the memory guy, so if you need any ram upgrades, gimme a shout.

I am here to try and save and hopefully rescue a Dell T7820 workstation that has bricked!

        Hi everyone,

I'm new to the world of electronics and just getting started with learning reverse engineering, fault hunting, and diagnostics

I’m still at the beginning of my journey, so I’m here to learn, ask questions, and soak up as much knowledge as I can. I’ve already seen how helpful and knowledgeable this community is, and I’m excited to be a part of it 🚀🚀🚀

Looking forward to learning from you all and contributing whenever i am able to!

          Ok, here goes,

My real name is Mark (52 years old) and i'm into the computer repair business for over 30 years, but now i want to expand my knowledge with repairing PCB's instead of just replacing the motherboards when they fail.
So, bought some equipment, watched a ton of youtube video's (Hi Sorin and Andy!) and now i practice on old laptops and hope to learn a lot from here (and get some beginners help)

            Hello! My name is Attila.

I recently started working on PlayStation restorations. I have basic knowledge of electronics and want to learn more.

Currently I am stuck with a repair. 😀 I got my first broken CUH1116A PS4, which had the 5v 4-pin connector ripped off the motherboard. I managed to solder back three wires, but one wire is completely ripped off, and I’m not sure where it should connect.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

HI I have been messing with electronics since the 1970s. Recently I was designing a RP2350 dev board but I even worked repairing factory timers when I first started.

                                    Hi!

I work in a different field from electronics, but I like to tinker and have done a few hobby projects (a fluid bed coffee roaster for instance).

I am interested in learning about how to fix components and keep things working rather than replacing them. Right now I'm looking to get help with a Lenovo laptop that might have a corrupted bios, but I expect I'll be back with other questions down the line.

For now, I'm here to learn but it would be cool to be able to contribute and help other some day.

                                    Cheers!

                                        Hi,

Well i've been into PC's ever since the ZX81 (with 16k ram pack, loved playing 3D Monster Maze & Subspace Striker), moved onto an Amstrad cpc464, then an Atari 130XE. Bought an Intel Pentium I PC off a school to strip down and see how it worked and from then on built my own PC's.
